Lean Manufacturing Coordinator
Summary of Position
Location: Stratford, WI
Status: Full Time Position
Summary/Objective:Stratford Homes LP, has been the leader of highly customized modular homes since 1973 and is seeking a self-motivated individual to fill a critical role on our team. The Lean Coordinator is a member of our production leadership team and is responsible for determining the lean path for process improvement. The Lean Coordinator will work closely with operations providing lean implementation support, coaching, and training. This position involves using Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies (such as VSM, 5S, Waste Identification, DMAIC, PDCA, etc.) to drive productivity improvements throughout the business.If you have a passion for working closely with Production and Engineering to understand the processes, train a team to eliminate waste, and be part of an organization’s transformation, you’ll love this opportunity! Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, scheduled for 8-hour workdays, Monday through Friday. Start times and end times may be adjusted as needed between 6am and 5pm, with remote work being a possibility once a candidate demonstrated he/she can work independently while maintaining an acceptable level of accuracy and output.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Work closely with production to identify improvement opportunities for reducing cost, improving efficiency and productivity
• Facilitate lean training as required to support the objectives.
• Collect and analyze data to support business decisions.
• Lead improvement workshops (kaizens) to eliminate waste and optimize process flow.
• Ensure lean projects are aligned with organizational objectives and goals.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
This position reports to the President of Stratford Homes.
Preferred Education and Experience:
• Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Construction, Business, Civil Engineering, or related field required
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in low-volume high-mix manufacturing and/or construction is preferred
• Lean Six Sigma experience beneficial
Travel: Occasional travel is expected to attend job sites, meetings and off-site training/education.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb stairs, lift/carry files/boxes and reach with hands and arms.
